Long Island Stud gets invite to USA Olympic Team Tryouts

The USA Olympics team is a great honor that not many players have the opportunity to experience. Well after taking part in the tryouts a few years ago there’s been a burning sensation in the gut of the super sophomore  from Luhi,  Celeste Taylor to go back and actually make the team. The athletic off-guard with the killer mid-range game’s stock is rising and she will most likely be one of the top players in the class of 2019. The last time she tried out, this time she was invited by the USA Olympic committee themselves! Celeste is also going back as one of the most highly recruited players in her class as well as a top 20 overall and ranked #4th in her position (as a guard) in the country by ESPNW. We were honored to be on-hand when she received her invite letter and thought that it would be special to share this with our members. See the video below.

We are proud to support the girls basketball and even more our local heroes such as Celeste that are putting it down for our city. Congrats Celeste and Represent for LI like we know you will.
